I come from a country where an opressive Soviet Puppet Government once dictated what people should enjoy. I don't want this idea to repeat itself in modern times where Star Wars fans put restrictions on what you enjoy simply because they disagree. I liked this movie as a standalone, and I sat through it without expectations of any kind. But if you're like most 'Star Wars fans', and expect specific characters to do more than develop and be at specific places, doing specific things at specific times, then of course you'll have problems with this movie.
