Unfortunately, even with all the fun inside jokes and cameos, the lack of any substantive, coherent plot just made the whole thing feel like an overly produced marketing campaign to fanboys.
The inability to adhere to any resemblance of continuity since the introduction of the multiverse, has indeed proven itself untenable.

Felt rushed and quite campy at times. What Sam Raimi did with No Way Home, he/Marvel Studios undid with MoM. I feel like they phoned this one in, which is quite a shame considering the multiversal possibilities.
