Avatar 3D review without spoilers - For a three-hour movie, the sole thing that kept me in my seat was the deep appreciation I had for all the man-hours that went into creating the movie, as the graphics were amazing and worthy of the big screen. As far as 3D, there were only a few areas where the graphics really came out of the screen, although you were fully immersed the entire time as the technology that went into the graphics was pretty amazing. Moving forward to the storyline, I could have easily done without the first 90 minutes of the movie, if it were not for the graphics, I could have taken a nap. The storyline was good, and expected, yet had a whimsical kinda deep underlying theme. The movie was rated PG-13 and definitely was not for little kids. If you get a chance, it is a movie you want to see on the big screen, as you will not appreciate the full effect once it hits Netflix. Out of 5 stars, I would give a 4.
