Loved the first book, it’s one of my all time favorites. But RP2 is unfortunately just a pathetic attempt to be woke. It has a story that goes nowhere, repeats a lot of ideas from the first book, and rambles pointlessly about experiencing sex as a man or a woman in the OASIS. If this was integral to the story, then fine. But it’s just an awkward, clunky attempt to show how the author feels about the subject. I really wanted to like it, like I said I loved the first one and had high hopes for the sequel. But this one’s a joke.
