Instagram @momsdesk just finished watching this series and they have nailed it. First the starcast is on-point, my two favourites were Claire Foy (as queen Elizabeth-II) and John Lithgow (as Winston Churchill). Claire perfectly depicted the character of this young and naive (but certainly not gullible) queen who makes her way to the throne of the world’s largest constitutional monarchy. On the other hand, I loved the finesse in language and the strong character of Winston, incredibly delivered by John. It is one of the most expensive productions of Netflix, and that is quite clear because of the grandeur and affluence shown through the sets/locations/perfect attire. It is nothing short of a treat to the eyes. All in all, a must watch!
