An interesting movie that could have gone much further in developing the characters and the underlying subplots, like with Lancelot and Queen Guinevere! I'd like to know what writings the screenplay was developed from, from Marlow? Or others? The movie did leave itself wide open for a PART II, with Lancelot and Guinevere riding off together at the very height of the fight in Camelot Castle, with King Arthur seeing them do so through a Castle window! This movie feels like it was badly hurt by lousy film editing, leaving important information on the cutting room floor! All in all, Arthur and Merlin is a very mediocre King Arthur Film, this review coming from someone who loves the genre!
