I was really excited to see this series, but unfortunately it wasn't really as great as I was hoping it would be. The whole series felt rushed and it was very hard to keep up with, mostly because they would hop back and forth from subject to subject, in the middle of an episode it would skip a month, then they'd go back 2 months, and it was overall a mess. The last episode was even worse. When everyone started complaining about how Shane didn't add in the James and Tati drama into the series like the trailer promised, he caved and used clips of him crying in front of the television screen mixed in with critics and fans alike bashing him for not putting it in earlier.
The positives I do have is that I loved when they showed footage from the launch day for the Conspiracy pallette. It was really interesting to see how heated and stressed out everyone in the meeting room was when Shopify went down. I also really liked that they left in Shane's mental breakdowns. It gave the series a very raw and real feeling to it, and made Shane really relatable because I'm sure all of us were dying to see him succeed in the end. I'm sure some people were also able to relate with Shane and it made them feel better about having anxiety, because they know they're not alone.
Either way, I love Shane and Jeffree, and the series was alright, the intentions were pure but it was just not great in terms of execution.
