I finished this book on 16/8/19. Book of Wisdom and knowledge, beautifully written by Elif Shafak. Must read and discover your level of Nafs. Very interesting conversation between Rumi & Shams of Tabriz on thier 1st meeting discussed. But one of my friend sent me his following views which confused me: "The primary fact to remember is that this is not an original thought. This is a piece of fiction and imagination. Remember.... it is a novel that you are reading. "The forty rules of love" is an acknowledged work of fiction. Nevertheless I can give you full explanation of what the author means by this division of love. And I also caution you that this "rule" is against the teachings of tasawwuf"
