There is much to love about this book. The prologue was so captivating that I read the entire story straight through. Simply put, it is a beautiful, well-told tale with some fascinating societal overtones. The attention to language, lifestyles, clothing, music, cars, race, American history and numerous other details provided an uncommon level of realism and authenticity. I was intrigued that this book has a playlist of music and videos, which takes the story to yet another level. The life lessons are numerous and subtle, and the 'circle of life/play it forward' conclusion was powerful.
