I'm rating this based on my experience on ps4 and I will be making some comparisons to the Mafia 1 remake... After playing the mafia remake I went on to mafia 2 remastered to be clear the original mafia remake was a masterpiece better graphically than mafia 3 and was very well done. Mafia 2 remastered wasn't nearly as well done and this is for 2 reasons 1. This is a light remaster of a ps3/360 era title rather than a freshly built from the ground up remake like the first one 2. Hangar 13 the team who did the remake as well as developed mafia 3 was only superficially involved the development was outsourced to some virtually unheard of studio called dt3 who didn't put nearly as much effort in as they should have. Now it's still fun the graphics have been improved if only marginally I mean don't get me wrong it looks better than the original but you can definitely tell it's a remastered older title my biggest issue is performance. Playing this on a ps4 slim the game was super laggy frame rate dios all over the place especially while driving the original game didn't perform like this on older consoles. It honestly reminded me of the Arkham city remaster. Which performed worse than the original game on older hardware which to be honest is kinda unforgivable. Granted it's not a full price game I expected it to perform well given how light the remaster was the remake and mafia 3 performed much better and that's sad considering mafia remastered was a triple a experience in 2020 so in verdict if you've never played mafia 2 and you're thinking of getting the trilogy bundle I'd say go for it. But if you have and you already have mafia 3 don't sully it's memory playing this broken remaster just pick up the mafia one remake by itself
