Disappointed in the journalistic integrity. Coverage of the election integrity was not complete. The only thing examined in this interview that aired 11/29 was whether or not the machines counting the votes were secure. The segment made sure to broadcast that President Trump (btw, it’s not Mr. Trump, it’s President Trump, CBS) challenged the integrity of the election “with no evidence” but it did not fully address election security. I don’t think anyone really feels that the machines “counting the paper votes” were the problem with the election. What this weak story does not address is WHERE DID THIS PAPER COME FROM??? With the massive amount of mail-in ballots being enough to change the outcome of the election, I believe it would be important to challenge: the source of these ballots, what controls were in place to ensure that mail-in ballots were equally mailed to ALL constituents, the conditions under which the votes were obtained, did people go door-to-door to harvest votes for one side only? All of these issues are what EVERY American should question. Polling places have VERY specific controls in place to ensure that citizens showing up to vote are not coerced or influenced in any way to choose one candidate over another. There are no such controls over mail-in ballots. When the president increases the number of votes he received in historically democratic states, and yet Vice President Biden overtakes him with mail-in ballots from as far back as a 20% deficit, THIS is the primary issue that NONE of these networks wants to address, and frankly, I feel that this is on purpose, and I am disgusted by it!!!
