Don't watch this if you want hill billy, inbred cannibals and gore. When I heard about a remake I couldn't wait to watch this.... wrong turn is a top franchise for me, yes I even like the last couple of films and have happily watched them multiple times but this I probably won't even watch again. I get it's trying to be different and tryin to stay away from the cannibal/slasher style...but this is so boring. Almost no gore (apart from the last few kills/attacks the editing cuts aways all the time). A 2 hour film and next to no running around the woods getting chased by nutters. It's basically starts with a "wrong turn" intro (group of kids head into the woods, that's it!!!) then tries a mix of "the village" and "judge Judy" before it tries to be something similar to "Midsommar". Sorry but this is such trash and a huge disappointment. This could of been a good story for a prequel if they change the time period or they could of just given it a different title to stay away from the wrong turn franchise.
