I loved this movie. Of course it HAD to have a happy ending but getting there was a joy in part because it was not particularly formulaic.Forrest Whitaker, Anika Noni Rose, Keegan Michael Key and the rest of the cast was great. Costumes, set design, the music of course, were all on point and a joy to watch. My one criticism is that no one ever mentioned Journey's father. What happened to him? One line would've done it.
