We saw a fascinating BBC Panorame story yesteday, 30 minutes telling the story of the California bsuh fires, the damsge, the courage, the resilience, and in some cases, the criminality, that occurred. But they did not talk about the elephant in the room, the insurnce comapnies and their reactios, Already we have heard tales of banket denials by these companies, usually quoting an obscure sub-paragraph buried deel in the homeownder insurance policy. So it would be nice if the Pnorama programmes followed up on this story, to see hwo many people are unhappy with their insurers response?
