A very well made film. Debated for long whether to give it a 5 rating. Made probably with the same principles as that of a short story; Doesn't finish even after it finishes. A simple yet practical story of dowry system which is still prevalent in some parts of India and how a family struggles to meet ends in the face of giving things to the sister's in laws house. Very strong and natural acting by all the cast members. Will surely recommend as a watch. The end is interesting and the reason for my dilema of 4 vs 5 rating.

Loved it!!!!! I am sure some of it has been dramatized, but it almost felt like witnessing Indian history, the milestone and the decisions which has made India a formidable force in the world today. Fantastic acting, great screenplay, choreography and direction, not to mention exquisite camera work. Even not being a fan of classical dance, I watched the scenes mesmerized by the strong performance and the context setting. Just brilliant!!

It has been a while that I have watched a movie which would touch you, shake you and make you think and question the very foundation of your belief about religion and incidents associated with it. A very compelling performance by each and every character in this movie. Yes, emotions are bound to overflow . Loved the movie and will surely recommend everyone to watch it.
