This season of Ed Gein's Monsters is a far cry from the first season of Dahmer and the Meneses brothers. The series has lost quality. Charlie Hunnam's performance is very good, he deserves an award. But the series is exaggerated and morbid. In the end, the Monster is presented as a winner, for his apparent remorse and collaboration in the arrest of another murderer, and his human side is revealed, as a murderous psychopath. The part where the Jews run through the countryside toward Gein is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, the morbidity was exaggerated, even though it could have been an epic series. The scene of Anthony Perkins having oral sex in the theater is highly criticized; I don't believe that was true. Hitchcock's portrayal is also far from realistic, as is the presentation of Psycho and the audience's reaction. The series is more science fiction than reality, and as I repeat, the morbidity ruined everything. It's chilling, psychological, terrifying, comparable only to the film "The Exorcist." I doubt it'll be allowed to be shown in other countries, and I don't think it'll get much coverage in the US itself. Netflix is โโdoing badly with this production.
