While reading through the book I found the passion of the author to go to the root of the cause. But I have a complaint in the way it is written in the book. There are quite too many quotations within a sentence which could have been avoided. In hard cover version, page 101, it is difficult to make out that about whom the author is talking about. Felt like the names are interchanged in some places.

I expected a lot from the movie's poster and trailer but felt disappointed when saw the action sequence which felt like a drag. Growing up while watching movies of Jacky Chan and Jet Li, also Indian movies like Indian(Kamal Hasan), I had this expectation that the fight scenes would be topnotch. But it turned out to be a total disappointment. The fight scenes, I don't expect it to be lengthy like the fight scenes of 90s movies where the fight just goes for straight 10 mins and still it doesn't reach to any conclusion after that. It felt the same drag. Except the first fight scene and the fight scene on the boat taxi, all the other fight scenes was just a drag. I think when you are making a film where martial arts has a key position, it is absolutely important to keep it tacky, remember, how kalari payttu was used in the movie Indian. The fight scenes should have a conclusion. But throughout the movie the only conclusion was in the end, which is fair, but there was nothing new in the fight presentation.

Few minutes in the movie and I started thinking that who wrote this? The level of CGI was superb but the story and dialogue written arround was childish and probably been liked in some other reality. Because clearly the movie has a background of after 2002 when superhero movies were on rise and I really wanted to know if there is anyone, I mean anyone who don't want a piece of superpower in them? Here the central character is kind of uncomfortable and embarrassed by his ability to be unburnt by fire. 😪. I would be surprised if Bollywood comes ever with a movie where there is no love angle. I saw Shang-Chi. The central character and the female character were friends till the end. Why we can't bring such an angle in hindi movies? It's never the lesson of duty and cosmic morals but only love. From Shahrukh to Astraverse this same concept. Are they still going to apply the same logic for their upcoming parts in Astraverse? The central theme of the movie is very interesting. Kids will definitely enjoy this movie for its visual appeal.

The movie don't do any justice to the actual book. The excitement which the book maintain till the end is lost in every scene. The book is definitely better than the movie and I just wonder why the script writer just skipped all the game-changing moments from the book to some ludicrously paced movie which don't even make sense and feels so lousy. It felt that the film tried to cover the whole book's story and in doing so lost all the suspense and excitement. So much so that the 'CATROVACER' was an anagram and in movie Seanna(Felicity Jones) finds that out while driving the car while escaping from a life-threatening situation, where as in the actual book it was found by Robert Langdon in Boboli Garden by scribbling it on the ground with a stick while trying to hide from the ECDC(which again was revealed much later in the book). Imagine how exciting would that scene be if filmed as written n the book. Also the character of Jonathan Ferris is removed and stupidly Bouchard approached Robert and explains the situation. The whole movie was just like a unhealthy processed food which tried to spoon feed every thrilling moments of the book as a tasteless goo. The acting of the actors were indeed good but the poor script put them in a week position. They probably have read the book that's why their facial expression felt as if they were trying to bring the feeling of the book but the director asked them to go in his way. The makeup also could have been done as per the book, where as Dr.Sinskey had white hair in the book, the film showed her as a brunette chick. Overall, the film felt so lousy and boring that I didn't had the patience to watch till the end. Sorry for the spoiler. But better go and read the book.

While watching the movie frame to frame I have observed Script: The script is the backbone of any movie. When it comes to making a political thriller action movie the audience will expect a lot of great twist and turns of the event. While that was present in some of the scenes. But overall it didn't reached the expectation. Performance: The script obviously didn't do any justice with the talent named Suriya and Sai Pallavi. They are indeed excellent actors in their own rights but some of the scenes felt over dramatic and felt uncomfortable from the actor's end. And yes that made some of those scenes as lengthy and boring. Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja has indeed gave excellent music for some romantic songs but all of them except one felt out of place. You can remove the songs (except one, where Suriya is climbing the ladder up) and still they won't impact the overall movie. The background music was also out of place in the first half of the movie where the scene felt like heart touching but the bgm was comedic. It was difficult to understand that chemistry. Overall it is a one time watch and even if you change the movie in the middle to some other program for a change of pace.... It will still be OK.

I read most of the reviews after I just watched Chota Bheem when I played that for my 3 years old daughter. I guess that the whole show focus on kids much younger as my daughter where they can only get the message with some cute visuals and not the other technicalities. I maybe sure that when they grow up they will feel that it was bogus but as a much younger person they will just enjoy and will be able to differentiate between good and bad.

Mikhael is not a MOTION picture...it is a SLOW-MOTION picture. Cast: Siddique is awesome in his role whereas others are just there to fill the void of hero, mother, step-father, and sister. Another mention should be of Suraj. Seemed like these two are the only people carrying the whole movie upon their shoulder. Nivin Pauly, as a protagonist definitely requires a physical trainer and an acting class for doing roles like this(Also in Kayamkulam Kochunni). Shanti Krishna, who is an experienced actress shown poor performance in the movie. Sister Jenny is good in her own rights, whereas there are a lot of other casts whose presence or absence is not going to bring any particular change in the overall plot. Plot: The weakest plot ever. The movie was made so slow-motion that it seemed like a drag. Till the interval, the whole plot was moving too slow. Movies like this need to have a pace where things unfold eventually and have to be made with great detail and precision. But Mikhael was written and made poorly with an extremely slow pace. The start of the movie shown the boy(Gerald) alive and death of Siddique. After the open credit, Gerald commits suicide and Siddique was shown alive. Few minutes after that it was realized to be in flashback, then what Gerald was doing in the screen before he opening credit? Also before opening credit, Gerald said that he wanted to be a policeman, and after the opening credit, Gerald was shown as an ass-hole, who wants to touch girls and hurt people. It seemed like the whole script was written by different people on a daily-wage basis. Overall, if the movie hasn't seen the door of a movie theater or people in the theater, then the reason will be very obvious.
