Just overlook plot holes, and just don't watch the last two episodes. Probably will feel like 4 stars if you do that.

Thought it'd be Harry Potter-esque.... nope. It's a low special effects budget werewolf, emotional teen show. How you managed to make a lower budget The Magicians, using half a dozen of the same cast, and a dozen more look-alikes? Bad copy, Netflix.

Checked if my blue light filter was on at least a dozen times. It wasn't.

Boring, all around. Not simply due to nothing happening the whole film, but because the dialog that does exist is also boring. Nothing good to see here besides a few jarringly random explanations you'd find on SciShow--to help the main character qualify as a sci-fi specialist--and, even then, iffy.
