One of the best movies I have ever seen ! Definitely my new favourite. They should be making more movies like this. And since somebody made such a disrespectful comment about the movie, I’ll make a positive one. 1. This movie represents so many people who never get represented in movies, especially Disney movies. There was a beautiful gay and black 16 year old son in the movie who may will make so many people happy to finally see somebody they can relate to in a Disney film. 2. This movie shows how you are not your parents and you should follow your dreams and passions. The movie is a good way to demonstrate parents leaving their children, and will help other kids know they’re not alone. 3. The film shows a beautiful, loving family that will do anything to protect each other. And shows how much they love each other no matter what. That is very important to show kids. 4. The movie demonstrates how you shouldn’t judge anybody or anything by the way they look (splat in the movie for example was not judged by the 16 year old son and they became friends). 5. The movie showed a beautiful land both above ground and underground. Showing much of nature and people being respectful towards it, and the whole town being kind to one another. 6. This movie demonstrates team work and trusting each other wonderfully. It’s so important for kids to watch that, and learn about team work and working together to help others! 7. I love how much this movie sends the message of “follow your dreams”. The characters (the 16 year old sons father for example) are always encouraging the others to follow their dreams and passions and not to do what people expect them to with their life and as a job. 8. This movie is perfect for all ages. I am a teenager who watched this and it is my new favourite movie. There was so many empowering messages throughout the film and it was truly so beautiful. 9. I love how the film made the humans and other creatures friends and really showed that other creatures have feelings, just like us humans. That’s good for children to know and understand ! That way it helps them be understanding, gentle, and kind about animals and other creatures. 10. This movie really shows that no family is perfect, but you can still be kind to each other and love each other. I love how accepting the whole family is. Especially with their son being gay. And having their 3 legged dog living happily and healthy. This film truly is so inspiring and I think it’s very important parents show this movie to their children for laughs, and even education. This movie was absolutely amazing. A 10/10 movie. It should have been shared more and talked about more. I hope more people watch this movie and appreciate the messages it has and shows. And the love this movie gives.
