After reading all the reviews, I believe only one to be truthful, lol. Right off the bat I do love the art style direction it’s taken. The Music is okay for the most part, not anything to write home about. And that’s saying a lot because I am a die hard Disgaea fan and I believe 3 has the best sound track. I do like that once you get far enough you can turn your brain off and set everyone to auto-pilot with semi capable intelligent. What I don’t like is the actual lack of repetition with the story. I got bored very fast as every chapter flowed almost the same. Meet a new character, do some maps fight what felt like the same boss. Disgaea has always been about an infinite grind, but the basically made it into a core mechanic. I also loved the idea of reoccurrence cast members from other Nippon-Ichi games. Not many here to choose from. This Disgaea just feels like a nerfed version of its self so everyone can get into it.
