I must have watched the wrong movie because in my opinion "Hereditary" is not a landmark, not a modern classic and not even good. The cast is okay (Mom is great, the kids are ok, and the dad was pretty good) The "event" at the start although shocking struck me more with confusion than horror The story up until the ending reveal was in my opinion quite boring/dragged out Everything after the "reveal" had me thinking over the whole story and it feels **really** forced and leaves me with a constant question of "Really though???"
