Overall the show is really good and keeps you on your toes. Yes, I feel there are flaws with it like everything. The characters are imperfect but so is the rest of humanity. I feel like the show illustrates that and is supposed to be a mirror of us as teenagers and adults. People need to chill especially with the taylor swift joke made in this show. So many celebrities are brutally made fun of and insulted. It’s nothing new. Yes the joke was sexist and misogynistic but so are other jokes made against others especially women in hollywood. Does one joke set women back years, no simply because it’s a joke. A joke isn’t a fragment of reality, it’s an exaggeration or something made to not be taken seriously. ALL CELEBRITIES have had racist sexist and derogatory jokes thrown at them. I found it so ridiculous that fans are trying to cancel this show because of it and also that Taylor Swift has made time to hate on netflix for a joke when i can bet you there’s a million other shows/movies that include bad jokes about other celebrities. This isn’t to be accepting of the biases and thoughts presented with this type of humor but to illustrate that some things are never going to change and aren’t in any way serious or represented as the society we live in today.
