If you liked the sopranos; this is 10X more real. Having lived in Napoli for several years, I can tell you the scenes are true to real life more than anyone could possibly imagine. More realistic than the sopranos with the accents, the tough life, the haircuts, and the common/pop culture of the streets that sets Napoli apart from the rest of Italia and Europe. Very authentic.
