Painfully slow with incredibly boring and bland characters.

It was too long, accents were hard to understand sometimes, and parts of the story and situations were not explained well.

It was PAINFULLY stupid for 90% of the film. A few rare cute moments. Adults completely acting in stupid unrealistic slap-stick ways. The only redeeming part was beautiful actors and location.

I'm a gay dude, with a husband. The gay character in the movie was handled VERY appropriately and with great tact. The overall story and writing just wasn't that great. Lots of cliche characters.

Pixar's best. Emotional and gorgeous and fun!

Very slow, confusing, and frankly.... Boring. In fairness, I'm not into sci-fi, but this was simply unentertaining.

Just take the one caveat that you'll have to deal with subtitles and dubbing..... It's worth it! It's layered, intense, educational, real, interesting, non-rushed, well written, filmed, and acted. Just a fantastic series that's worth giving a chance.

It's INCREDIBLY cliche' and could have been so much better. Toning down the violence and language to make in PG-13 would have done wonders in making it palatable for a larger audience. The biggest issue (sort of spoiler) is the end which is so ridiculous and implausible I image the vast majority of audiences were rolling their eyes. It's not horrible, and ok to watch once, but should have been much better.

So sad it was cancelled....had great potential!

Dated now, but absolutely fantastic. Positive look at Washington with delightful characters.
