For my opinion this is coming form a very young teen so we don’t all think the same but I think the whole show is about mixed blacks not being black enough. Since the mom can past as white look at Cameron Boyce he can past as white even if his father is black. How about Hasley she can past at white. I know that there’s episodes where they’re cussing in front of little ones but there’s a good education and within black community. Like black girls who are more likely to get kicked out than white girls, even history of slavery and even braids. There’s so much more. Mixed blacks who are light skin or fair skin will get called out for not being black enough and it’s sad. They’re still black no matter white but that’s what I think what the whole show is about
