My first 5 star movie. This movie made made my night.

First off: It worth's watching. Regardless of the dialogs you'll find it entertaining and suspenseful. However, if you are from Iran, then you'll find it a brave but long tale of empty politic slogans. Filming: 7/10 Direction/Writing: 5/10 Acting: 7/10 Overall: 7/10

THIS IS NOT A THRILLER So, forget about the kidnapping stuff. It worth's watching for all the real moments that Asghar Farhadi takes you in every bit of a moment. Kidnapping is a spark to ignite the real flame: How one's real father may sacrifice his life to protect her daughter versus a pretending father who was waiting for a god to help the girl. A grandmother whom refused to reveal the truth publicly and more sophisticated(but real) relations. Note: The cleaning in the ending plot shows that they are spraying sanitizer to the cross to clean it! It's a metaphor. Despite the messy ending which is his style , Farhadi made "Everybody Knows" while he is not Spanish nor Argentinian and none of his crew was from his previous teams. I give it 4 out of 5.

Why you should watch this movie: - Great acts notably the little boy Daichi - More real point of view to a cruel leader - Lots of metaphores in the story and dialogs - Great filmography results despite of the movies smal budget The first time I watched "The President" I found the same dictatorship signals around me in my own country. Therefore maybe Makhmalbaf tried to demonstrate countries similar to Iran in a less religious atmosphere to make it more general. All the dictators are condemned to be collapsed by their own people.

Well, First of all it goes annoying in some points specially in the middle of it but beginning and ending was hilarious. It was touching the way the story ends. Technically Plays, Casting and Designs was good and it could be far better if they had more time and fewer episodes. It worth's to watch.

Well, Despite the obvious difficulty filming team had to deal with to make this movie, I believe they couldn't make it! Maybe little changes would round it's rating to a brand higher level. For instance, with a brief background story for the leading actor, it would be more convincing to what he was doing(Being mad at sth). However, I think maybe the whole movie was a metaphor of how much one may risk for a better life , safety and family. BTW it gets 3 out of 5 from me.

It's not a Harry Potter fantasy or Brad Pitt action movie! Most likely to be a less creative '2001 a space odyssey'. So be careful about watching this movie. It starts with a piece of bible, and keeps going with basic phylosophical questions. Also there is no concrete story in it. Fascinating animations depicting universe and primitive substances alongside noticeable acting performances will stick you to the screen provided that you are watching a high resolution copy. Many unsolved left puzzles and questions even though Malik has made a strong backbone to link every thing in the movie together: Life is going on with or without us. Beautifull

A well-crafted story along acceptable acting makes this movie satisfying. Mani Haghighi made his first horror movie based on a curious , true and highly confidential case uncovered by himself . The movie visualizes a supernatural force(Or a dragon or sth) discovered by 3 young men. It worth to watch. I also loved fascinating scenes depicted in Gheshm island in Iran, Filming was great too.
