I've played this game since early 2010 and I can honestly say it is still worth playing in 2020. Great soundtrack composed by Grant Kirkhope who did a splendid job I would say, I really feel like he put his heart and soul into the games soundtrack and it really shows.
It's just an overall really good simulation game. It's a weird concept to have Piñatas in a garden but it works. The gardening is fun, the collecting/grinding for chocolate coins, the researching different piñata types, watching the weather change makes for a really fun game like this one. Overall it's a really fun game that's really aged well.
All in all, not for nostalgia sake but for my own opinion I can say please check out this game if you're into simulation games, or into gardening games, or anything like that... Even if those kinds of games aren't your cup of tea there is still an experience to be had in Viva Piñata. I wish that this franchise wasn't dead in all honesty, it needs more recognition and I really wish Rare could see the potential this franchise has instead of just releasing the games on Rare Replay or something just so older fans could look back on the games for nostalgia sake.
Rare, please bring back this franchise from it's grave, there's so much potential that you're clearly not seeing!
