This film is a classic work from Fritz Lang which really questions values in the American justice system. It twists and turns you're views of the characters and the story as it progresses. Lang is a master of innovation, and Fonda is the perfect bad boy charmer. For Langs second Hollywood production he knocks a baseball of suspense and irony out of the park.
