I haven’t paid full price for a game in years. I rarely play these days in general but this was the best money I’ve spent in a while. As a longtime fan of the series and someone who understands the disappointments really have always existed. The struggle and monotony of everything. I don’t mean it lightly when I say I cannot put this damn game down. It is so beautiful and so fun all the time. The Japanese voice acting, the atmosphere, the music, the animations, weather effects, the lack of control I have over this world. It is something I enjoy a lot as it keeps changing. The set an unbelievable inescapable mood that I’ve not felt in a long time from an assassins creed game and not since ghost of Tsushima came out. I’m playing on a new 4k LG C Series, no hud on ps5 pro on the hardest difficulty and it is so hard to put it down when I start. It’s just enthralling. Combat is slick and fun not something you can just blindly slash away at. AI is more intelligent then ever and will notice you from a more realistic distance as well as look up and down, put up a more realistic fight that will force you to pay more attention when you die in 3 hits. It’s an exceptional game, and you can tell Ubisoft made a huge a difference by delaying the game and really working on it. they rarely did this in the past and often dropped many buggy games so it doesn’t go unnoticed this time they invested in the game. the attention to detail, the finish, it is all truly thoughtful and exceptional when you spend a lot of time looking at the finer details of interactions and animations. It’s very beautiful work. I’d also like to note that many people seem to be consistently downplaying the effective use of literal shadows in the actual game despite thi being implanted as a full stealth feature in the game and in the series for the first time. It works and I use very often. It works well and consistently enough to note that it’s worked for me quite a bit. I will literally look at a shadow and say hey maybe I can hide in that and usually I can, so I’m really confused by this sentiment that it’s not being utilized despite it being the name.

The massive disparity between the critic reviews and the audience reviews are interesting, the movie def was longer then what most people can bare but what the movie offered in return was truly exciting.The world was rich and detailed, visually stunning with a full functioning economy in space to further the idea that earth is a lost cause, it did a great job at keeping me constantly invested in the characters and their motivations,which the movie focuses on quite a bit,the little girl was wonderful,charming and added bits of humor and levity to the movie but it never felt like the stakes weren’t high even when ur laughing at her selling tomatoes. A really refreshing take on the sci fi genre .def appreciated the multicultural take on the movie considering dystopian movies often don’t explore the struggles of poverty and how people live in a melting pot of different backgrounds in a deep meaningful way,it made the world seem more real and fleshed out then other dystopian sci-fi films. A must watch if you like fun movies with lovable characters and incredible action.

I wanted to love this a lot and i did to some extent but that’s changed throughout this experience,I did two playthroughs each70 hours and after140 hours with the game I found myself losing interest in side content because of how repetitious and uninteresting side content starts to feel with usually every story having a very similar context usually conveyed through a data shard(eventually they become very hard to wanna read)compared to the Witcher which I had very exciting moments with consistently and side quests that didn’t always devolve into a combat scenario where as the interactions in this game feel somewhat more obtuse with similar situations usually solved by similar means like combat instead off the more story evolving quests of the Witcher.it would be more fun if almost every combat encounter didn’t have audio lag or gun glitches like diseappearing or not appearing or the button just not equipping the weapon,npc rarely respond accurately to input so it starts feel like the immersion they build up is constantly being broken down with bad npc logic,enemies are very rarely challenging. While I did have fun experiences within the game and immersive moments at times and there’s def some glimpses of good writing and storytelling it doesn’t quite match the residual feelings i had when I played the Witcher which was a long term fondness of the franchise. I deeply hope this game is fixed because I really enjoy this company and their work and I feel support the no mans sky type of closure as long as that’s what they aspire to do because this game is very much in need of that
