I can’t even remember the amount of times I watched this as a kid, but for nostalgic purposes I found myself watching it again just now, the story is pretty good for its time but for some reason I get the feeling the it was compacted down to fit in the time frame that it had, which kinda ruined it for me but only a little.
The characters where great and well designed, the film has aged decently well over the course of 27 years, the message about the horrors of deforestation where “beautifully” played out and in the open, I would definitely watch this one day with my kids one day.
In all I give it 7/10 and I won’t lie I fan boy’d a little when I realised Robin Williams and Tim Curry where in it
