This might look average suspense film today but surely must have been one of the great movie of its time. The way movie began and the style it was written was perfect for its era. Superb.

Reality shown, that Spirits can enter Churches, cross dont scare them and They are much stronger than Church Fathers or any human being. If you are interested and have studied demonology, you would definitely be more curious to watch this one... If you have come only for entertainment and horror. then may be you might Judge this one as an average movie. Personal opinion, i liked the movie and would love to study more on the Dark ages History.. It depends on how you take movie as. If someone says it aint that good. I dont think, he or she would be wrong either. Its only perspective that decides
