Well, where do I begin?
This woman abandons her child after birth and disappears, but she is so mad that the father decided to keep her?!! Why do you care? You were going to leave her anyway. What does it matter if she ended up living with her father instead of a family you know nothing about. At least her father loved her. That was not guaranteed with the adopting family. Her anger was totally misplaced, and the father did not deserve it at all.
Then, the daughter finds out about her biological mom, and instead of directing her anger at the woman who left her, she blames her father for telling her her mom is dead to protect her from the truth that her mom simply did not want her. I mean it was not the best decision on his part, but for the daughter to direct all her anger at him but have nothing to say to the woman that left her seems illogical.
Finally, you have the character played by Julianne Moore storming into her husband's workshop and yelling at him in front of his clients for a taking a nest, and she did not even apologize afterwards. I mean if the roles were reversed, that man would have been crucified.
I am all for girl power, but don't over do it people. In Summary, I did not like it, because it did not make sense.
