Even after their recent update which I was hoping would improve the game, I see absolutely no improvements. This is has to be the worst game I've ever played. The only thing I like about it is that its got some of my favorite shonen animes in it but thats it. I absolutely hate this game. So much infact, it made me want to write a review about how much I hate this game. The cut scenes have very poor animations; its hard to believe that this game was made in 2019. Aside from that, its almost impossible for me to predict what the CPU is gonna do next. You can't because it doesn't seem to do anything if you aren't. What I mean is that it responds to everything you do with a counter for it. And then there's the part where yours and your enemies projectiles don't collide the same way they do in ninja storm 4. So it's very hard to protect yourself because it takes to long for you to be able to block sometimes. You can't cancel your skills so your left to get punished for doing anything. I'm literally too afraid to go near my opponent because there is absolutely nothing I can do; if I make one mistake, then 1/3 of my health bar could get depleted with a single combo. It's borderline unplayable. I honestly don't know what they were thinking when they made this game. I can't imagine anyone saying that it was ok to be released and that even after being out for over a year now, it's still one of the most garbage video games I've ever played, right next to Sonic 06. Even the story isnt good; maybe younger kids woud like it. Don't waste your money on this game.
