I have to agree with the reviews. I couldn't get pass the 3rd episode because I am trying to figure out whether they were going to have sex. The character who played Emma was not likable. She comes across as rude, condescending, dry, with no personality, and boring. Her face never changes even when she is being playful. It’s deadpan. It has nothing to do with her color because they could have selected numerous other actors of her ethnicity ( probably more attractive). I didn't feel what Dexter saw in her. She was so aloof.

The show has it's moment with humor but not much. It’s stereotypical black on black violence and overuse of the N-word. There was no respect to kids and the lead was so dry like he just woke up and decided to act. No personality. I don't see the point of this show except to show further the demise of black communities and it’s ppl.

I enjoyed the series but it was a bit nerve wrecking esp the character Helen. She keeps putting herself in these situations which would cost her life simply because she’s needy, nosy and trying to be a goody two shoes. The hypocrisy is she dumps Ethan who was willing to change and he’s a doofus but wants a guy who’s has a checkered past and ultimately would come close to getting her killed several times. He’s an accountant for an international drug dealer, torturer, and apart of a ruthless Irish clan. Yeah, seems like a winner Helen. Toward the end of season 2 we still don’t know who this guy is and it seems she still can’t let his past go.

I usually like Baldacci books and the one’s in this series. However, this storyline was boring and unbelievable. It didn’t keep me spellbound. Sean King is more self righteous, obnoxious and poised as some super sleuth who just pull clues out of thin air. And Michelle Maxwell has way too much masculine energy. She’s always ready to fight even ppl twice her size and comes off rude and inappropriate esp when everyone else and her dad is grieving. Does she have an off bottom? Also, I understand these 2 past experiences but they freely move around in powerful circles as PI. In reality, someone would have made these 2 disappear esp world leaders. I couldn’t follow this story, too many side stories.

This was a good series. Very suspenseful. I binged the series in one night. I’m not a big Kevin Hart fan but his dramatic acting was great. Not too many movies keeps my interest. Stop listening to commercial critics, they grade everything as a Oscar caliber performance rather than entertaining.

I enjoyed the show, it was entertaining.It had moments of intensity and some comedic moments. Reading some of these comments, is why I don’t trust ppl opinions. They expect a level of maturity from a 24 year who’s finding his way and not to make mistakes. It kept me watching and can’t wait for season 2 as I assume the 1 and 2 star folks will be watching too.

Im sorry but black women complain how they are depicted by TP, black men have it even worst. The thing i cant stand about his shows there are no happy black couples who making ish work despite the odds. Being the angry black woman and the the no good trifling black man seems to be the template on black roles.

I felt like I wasted an hour and half of my time. It's so cliche. Wife left in a big house, and creepy guy appears while she's alone and husband not around is so cliche. There wasn't any logic to explain anything. The movie lacked common sense.
