If such an entity existed, psychological adaptation to the world would be impossible. What's the point in trying to hunt down this entity when you don't know what you can do to stop it? And even if it was theoretically possible, no one has empirically texted that method. You would have to be mad to continue on. Moreover, no one seems truly frightened. Very bizarre!
