Just finished watching this series and I loved it. Hope there is a season 2. Good acting!

Awful! So predictable and it’s one of those shows where you keep saying, “this is ridiculous!” Give your viewers some credit, we’re smarter than you think. Cerebral it is not. Jack is sleazy and is sleeping with someone, but drops her to be with the new girl in town, Mel. Now, his friend with benefits is pregnant with twins, yet Mel thinks he’s the best thing since sliced bread. She’s a ER Nurse, but never asks him about condoms! Then Mel apologizes to him for feeling bad about the babies and leaves a job she just received after a hard fought battle with the Doctor to land it, to escape for a couple of weeks because she can’t handle the baby news, while still upset over her late husband’s untimely death. Jack’s like a old horn dog preying on a young girl. It never felt right. His acting only emphasized that characterization. I didn’t feel he showed any real empathy, just a look that said, I just want to get her In bed. He’s everywhere, doing everything and is just feet away anytime someone needs him. His acting made him appear smug. Storyline, different plots all felt strangely familiar and overdone in many other dramas. Nothing felt new or fresh. I kept waiting for it to get better, but it never did. Waste of time.
