I loved everything about this movie. The strange yodeling in the beginning kept me intrigued. A good character study on family dynamics. Amy Adams played the sweet, understanding, naïve daughter in law brilliantly. I only wish we understood the reason (s) why the younger brother was angry at his older brother. I thought the ending tied everything up. The newlyweds continued to the city together. The parents showed affection for one another with the bird carving. Stubborn young husband called his wife in hospital to check on her and say lets try to start a family again later on.
