At its best the movie portrays passion, ecstasy, excitement, jealousy, and regret in a realistic way. Connie selfishly indulges herself in an affair believing it’s on her own terms. She is too excited and her naivety blinds her to the fact that her husband knew something was off from day one (Him: do you love me? Her: of coz I love you what a silly question! Him: Maybe I’m just feeling silly). She lives off that benefit of the doubt until it ultimately costs her boyfriend his life and her husband his morality and freedom (potentially). All this to say it’s a Great movie
