So, the premise boils down to: a privileged rich guy uses his money to avoid the consequences of his own bad behaviour? Why do they need time travel? That's just how the world works. What a waste of a concept, using time travel for something as mundane as fixing your relationship problems? The stakes couldn't be lower. You want time travel, try the Lazarus Project on BBC. This is just sad.

Three and a half hours of self indulgent nonsense. And it's only part one!?! No thank you. You had the better part of an evening to tell a story and you squandered it. Telling perhaps 12 minutes of story and at best 7 minutes of comprehensible story. Everyone is saying this is an improvement over the 80's version? Sorry, no. That film may also have been largely incomprehensible but at least it got down to the business of telling the story. By the time this bloated film school project has had enough of itself and simply walks away leaving the audience hanging, only two characters are still alive and we care so little that had they also been in the pile of bodies nobody would have noticed. Evidently some people are raving about how this is a better treatment of the book, which is fine and dandy, but as a feature film it has a duty to stand on it's own and give the audience a story and to provide entertainment to that audience. In this it fails miserably. Dune 2021 adds nothing new to dune 1984 and lacks much of what was in that version. I am mad you took 3 & a half hours from me and you have some nerve asking me to come back for a part two!

Vapid drivel, poorley written and phoned in acting. Earth's only got one ftl ship and the crew were apparently chosen by a viewer poll of tick tok influencers. Most incompetent group of people this side of Idiocracy. Watching this is painful. Save yourself the trouble.

A quagmire of pointless cgi. Yes, we get it, you can animate fish, but come on, filling the screen with rapidly moving pixels does not make up for the corny hackneyed tropes this film doles out in vast quantities. They dutifully checked every box that could be thrown into a movie with no thought to making any of it fit together. I the end, the hero really is just some guy who poses alot and talks to fish. The villains are either pointless and pathetic, black manta, or over the top melodramatic with no real motivation. Two and a half hours i want back please.

A dreadful mess. Some interesting visuals which are finished after the first 20 minutes and which you have already seen in the trailers. Zero character development whatsoever, a stupid tacked on romance that develops in less than 36 hours into full blown love... Not to mention the stupidity of the whole idea. Wouldn't a citys resources last longer if you didn't put said city on wheels? When you find a power source capable of driving a doomsday weapon, why not jusf use it to power your city? Save your money and your brain, avoid this drek!
