I might be old school, but I miss the totally helpless feeling that Far Cry 2 carried for much of the game. 3 and 4 hit a sweet spot between overly challenging and giving the player some fun tools to tackle outposts and levels with. Far cry 6, while beautiful and playable from a technical stand point, has lost what made Far Cry such a compelling series in the first places. The Rpg leveling doesn't fit with the game. It is borderline a cuban based destiny. The Ubisoft formula is the reason I stopped buying Assasins Creed, Ghost Recon, and why I never played The Division. It looks to be the reason thst I will stop playing Far Cry as well. Probably going to go find the rest of the diamond briefcases in Africa for now.
