This is probably the best thing I've watched on Netflix in some time. This goes without saying, but don't take this show too seriously. It's so funny!! There are some dark moments of course, but Kristen Bell is so much fun to watch. It took me a couple of episodes to realize that the writing and acting is very deliberate. Once I realizes this, I thoroughly enjoyed this show!

I really don't know what to say here. I feel so embarrassed watching The Gilded Age. The only analogy I can really think of is, watching this show is like watching someone walk around with a price tag attached to the back of their pants. Given the list of names on this show, I'm bummed out by the miserable acting, not to mention the writing. It really takes a special kind of heap of garbage to block my view of any possible potential. What a bloody shame!!

Basic, but perfect for American's that cannot seem to get past primetime television and are BRI-curios. "The Stranger", which was directed by the same brilliant director, was incredible. The bakers on the Great British Baking Show have better on screen presence than newer generation (and some older.. i.e. Nicholas Cage) American actors. This show is perfect for Brit TV virgins. Nothing beats British Television/Film when it comes to diversity and versatility. I believe this this why they create incredible and realistic magic on screen. Don't watch it for the writing, watch it for the acting (fir the most part)! I am excited to see Richard Armitage, Eddie Izzard and Sarah Parish on screen again. All of these actors are beautifully trained, but still... Sarah Parish! I love that woman! She is my British Jessica Lange. They both frighten and intrigue me. There is nothing sexier than that it my world.
