Maybe because I went expecting the movie to really suck, but it was not as bad as the critics are making it out to be. I actually enjoyed it for the most part. The first half of the film was skillfully directed and kept me engaged. I would have liked to see more of demonic possession and exorcism but I will give them an e for effort in trying to take a different direction. Truth , when a singer goes on American Idol and chooses to sing Whitney, they better be able to bring it because they have set the bar very high for the selves This film did just that . by taking on a film like the original Exorcist you better be able to bring it . Although it did deliver some genuine creepy scares, it fell short overall but I still found it enjoyable. Go see for yourself .
