Slow and almost nonsensical. I have no idea how they got all those stars to be in it. A waste of time.

I expected to like the movie a lot. But…the story moved at a glacial pace. It’s way too long. The white people in the movie are cretins, unbelievably dumb. Stupid, stupid, stupid. And, it’s not pleasant to watch. It’s an ordeal to sit through. The movie doesn’t begin to move until maybe the last third when J. Edgar Hoover and the Feds (FBI) step in. 👎 However, the ending is absolutely brilliant. Very creative. And, I understand that’s the way it really happened. Amazing. I would wait till you can stream it at home using the fast forward button.

I couldn’t wait for it to end. I thought I would like it, but I just got bored. They just seemed to keep saying the same points over and over. It was a cartoon. Nevertheless, virtually every woman I know liked it.

It’s hilarious. It took me to the 3rd or 4th episode for me to see it really get into gear— and then it just really takes off. 👍 The star reminds me of a young Mark Ruffalo. A lot. He and Max are great!

I didn’t know it was a musical. Many actors are singing their scenes. I wanted to see the movie because I wanted to know how Elton John composed the music after he received the lyrics from Bernie Taupin. I understood it after seeing the movie— it just flowed through his fingers almost magically. Their collaboration was a match made in heaven. They really are like the brothers they never had. Since I saw the movie at home, I was able to sing along with a lot of the songs. I knew so many of them. I think the movie is worth seeing and leaves you with a very triumphant feeling. After making a mess of his life, he finally got it all together. 🙏🙏

I don’t know what people want. It’s like a Liam Neeson movie. Jennifer is hell bent on protecting her daughter. The scenery is beautiful. It’s action-packed. Jennifer is tough as nails and prevails. It’s a movie about toughness, and doing what it takes to stay alive. It also stars a Fiennes and Gael García Bernal. The daughter is a good actress, Lucy Paez. I don’t know, I felt like people were paid to give it a bad review. They seem to want to trash the movie. I thought it was great for a Sunday night movie on TV at home. And I always like watching Jennifer Lopez. I hope you enjoy the movie as well.

I liked it a LOT more than I thought I would. Actually, I thought it was perfect. The pace, the level of intensity, the ability to keep you engaged, the casting. It was kind of like Quentin Tarantino meets Clint Eastwood. It’s divided into chapters. The movie just works. We were thoroughly engrossed.
