Is there actually a name for this type of tv show? Ones that lead everyone on a wild goose chase? The tv is jam packed full of these non-scientific capers with film crews crashing about falsely ‘creating’ tv. I guess if people like me are going to watch them they will continue to make them! But it really would be great if, for once, a documentary could be made by real scientists using real science to try to prove or disprove the reports of, not just Bigfoot, but any other crypto monster. Maybe I’m missing the point. Maybe it IS about letting people enjoy their interest in the possibility of monsters!?

For many years I wondered how so many people were subjected to such horrors by the nazis with so little resistance from those being persecuted. Having read this book things have become clearer to me. I now realise that what happened had not happened within living memory to anyone else. The victims did not know what was about to befall them. It was an unknown. Such atrocities could not have been anticipated until it was too late and the victims were either on their way to death, or unimaginable maltreatment. This book is obviously written by an adult survivor, but it reads like the child that was subjected to unimaginable abuse and cruelty. For such a terrible subject I surprisingly found the book easy to read. I’m glad I read it.
