We only saw the final episode last night on our DVR as we were traveling. We had been enjoying the season because there were some great contestants were actually growing so much on their dancing and performing skills. Every season has some people who have more natural talent for dance and some who struggle. Its wonderful to watch all their journeys. But the first word in the title is DANCING. It's not "crazy showmanship". Dancing takes discipline as well as creative endeavor. It teaches people that if you work at a skill you can improve. I saw almost nil improvement in Bobby. I saw more in Joe. I felt Bobby always just played to his craziness and in some ways it really denigrated the concept of the show. And to see the judges give perfect 10 to his last dance which was a mess by any standard and played to the worst type of showmanship...was a disgrace. We're done with the show. Kind of an example of our society today. Our 2 votes may not mean much but I have a feeling there are a lot of people who feel the program allowed thsu sham to happen so you have lost our trust.
