I went in expecting a simple revenge story but I got so much more. The director really understands the visual medium of film. Just about every shot of this movie is visually interesting and different from the last. It has a story with heart and culture really steeped into it that elevates the whole production. I was so pleasantly surprised here, I will definitely be watching whatever Dev Patel directs next.

Only the first episode but unless they drop the ball, this show is going to be great. Very well written and even better acted. Colin Farrell is amazing and the supporting cast all does a good job. What a pleasant surprise, I didn't have any expectations for this, but it's really good. Gotham feels like Gotham and that's not easy to do either. Amazing sets and costumes/make up. Definitely give it a chance.

By far the best of Disney Star Wars. Good characters, solid writing, solid performance from all the actors, especially the main players. Very interesting look at the Empire/Republic inner workings. Diego Luna is fantastic, if you enjoyed Rogue One, you'll definitely enjoy this.

Not the worst, but not really good either. Few of the episodes were fantastic, but most of them were pretty pointless. It does manage to feel like Star Wars a couple of minutes here and there though.

Better than seasons 5-8 of GoT by a country mile.

Whomever wrote this doesn't understand the Jedi Order or Star Wars in general. Go and watch the Knights of the Old Republic cinematics, and you'll see better storytelling in under 5 minutes by people who understand what makes a compelling narrative in a Star Wars setting.
