Super Mario Odyssey is the culmination of splendid graphics, top class movement enhanced by motion controls and the new character of Cappy, and a developed storyline. The graphics are top notch with the multitude of kingdoms being brilliant visual scenes of their theme. The gameplay is the most diverse ever with over 13 types of jump, as well as the ability to bounce off Cappy or use Cappy to cancel rolls allowing for high speed retention. The motion controls allow Cappy to be thrown in 4 different directions. The storyline begins with the base game where Mario chases Bowser in the Odyssey to prevent him from marrying Princess Peach fighting a new crew of bosses, the Broodals. After the base game, you can unlock further kingdoms by collecting moons in more places than before the game has been beaten. A total of 880 moons and 1000 purple coins to find allows for massive replayability and enjoyment
