Absolute garbage on every level. The first clue is in the year of release - 2024. It seems that all films made after 2018 have the same stereotypical formula ..... even if it means twisting and tweaking historical eras to suit the modern narrative, and the modern thirst for high-speed Marvel Comics style cinematography and totally unrealistic action scenes. If WWII stories interest you, I recommend watching something like Home Fires (available on Youtube) for a far more realistic, AUTHENTIC, utterly captivating and thrilling series, filled with BELIEVABLE characters, accurate costumes and design, and the most superb acting you'll ever see. Blitz is just yet another extended Instagram video for the big screen, with wooden, superficial acting, totally unconvincing characters and an intellectually insulting storyline. How standards have dropped! Perhaps it's designed to appeal to the Netflix generation? PS - it seems it isn't possible to give a zero star rating, so I'm forced to give it a single star (although goodness knows, it's hard to justify that 1 star.)
