There is a good thread in the movie but the people failed to bring it onto the screen. Amateur script and corny dialogues at wrong instances and awful background music added to the failure. But some of the actors has played well.In short if u have time to waste u can give it a go.

Pookalam is a beautifully crafted movie. It takes the audience with its flow through its beautiful script , outstanding performance of the cast and a good morale story line which is carefully treaded. The movie takes you through a ride of emotions and absorbs you into their family. Kudos to all the actors their performance was top notch. The performance given by vijayaraghavn and KPAC Leela was outstanding and i am sure they will get the Highest honours. It's been so long since I heard audience giving ovation in theatres and I got to hear applauses for pookalam.
