“If you have to go, you know I will go with you.” The Song of Achilles was possibly one of the best books I have ever read, once I picked it up I could not put it back down. It was everything and more. Madeline Miller wrote it beautifully and portrayed Patroclus and Achilles the way that they were meant to be written. I will never stop loving and re-reading this book full of love, heartache and uncertainty. Miller portrays Achilles in such a different light to any other book and shows him not just as the fierce warrior but shows us that he can also be loving and gentle Even if you know the story of Achilles and Patroclus I believe that you should still read this book, it is still an amazing book and Miller did the story justice. I was flooded with tears in parts. I will recommend this book to everyone I possibly can it is perfect no matter your age. You will not be disappointed.
